Privacy Policy

Aqar Chain ("we", "us") operates aqarchain.com, a UAE property platform for discovering, renting, selling and managing property, including property videos, agent tools, property management and a service-provider marketplace. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why we collect it, who we share it with and the choices you have.

• Account data: name, email address, phone number, profile picture, company name, company logo and agent registration (RERA/BRN) number where applicable.
• Content you submit: listings, videos, captions, documents, messages, comments, enquiries, job posts, quotes, invoices and reviews.
• Usage data: pages and videos viewed, watch time, likes, saves, follows, device and browser information, approximate location derived from IP address, and diagnostic logs.
• Transaction data: lease, rent, deal-value and commission records you or your organisation enter into the platform.

When you choose "Continue with Google", authentication is handled by Google using OAuth 2.0. We never see or store your Google password. With your consent we receive only the limited profile scopes required to create your account: your name, email address, email verification status, Google account identifier and profile picture URL.

Our use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We use Google user data only to provide and improve the user-facing features of Aqar Chain. We do not sell it, we do not use it for advertising, and we do not allow humans to read it except with your explicit consent, for security or legal reasons, or where the data is aggregated and anonymised.

You can revoke Aqar Chain's access at any time from your Google Account permissions page. Revoking access does not delete data already stored in your Aqar Chain account; use the deletion request in section 9 for that.

Map views, property pins and location search are powered by Google Maps Platform. When a map loads, Google may receive your IP address, device and browser information, and any location you grant the browser permission to share, in accordance with the Google Privacy Policy. By using map features you also agree to the Google Maps Platform Terms of Service.

We do not cache, store or redistribute Google Maps content beyond what the Google Maps Platform terms permit, and we do not use Maps data to build a competing mapping service. Precise device location is only requested when you actively use a "near me" style feature and you can decline it without losing access to listings.

• Create and secure your account and authenticate sign-ins.
• Show property listings, videos and search results, and personalise your feed.
• Route enquiries and leads to the relevant agent, landlord, property manager or service provider.
• Operate property-management, CRM, invoicing and analytics features.
• Detect fraud and abuse, enforce our Terms, and comply with UAE law.

We share personal data only as described here, and never sell it:

• With counterparties you choose: submitting an enquiry, job post or application shares your name, contact details and message with that agent, landlord, manager or provider so they can respond.
• Service providers (processors): hosting and database, authentication, email delivery, mapping, video storage and analytics vendors, each bound by contract to process data only on our instructions.
• Legal and safety: where required by UAE law, regulators, or to protect our rights or the safety of users.
• Corporate transactions: as part of a merger, acquisition or asset sale, subject to this policy.

Some providers process data outside the UAE. Where that happens we rely on contractual safeguards requiring an equivalent level of protection.

Data is encrypted in transit with TLS and at rest by our hosting provider. Access to production data is restricted to authorised personnel on a need-to-know basis, database access is governed by row-level security so users can only reach their own records, and uploaded documents and media are stored in access-controlled buckets. No system is perfectly secure, so we also ask you to use a strong password and to keep it private.

Account data is retained while your account is active. Listing, lease, invoice and commission records may be retained for up to seven years to meet UAE accounting and regulatory obligations. Analytics events are retained in aggregate. Content you delete is removed from the platform and purged from backups within 90 days.

You can access, correct or export your data, withdraw consent, object to processing, or request deletion of your account and associated Google user data by contacting us. We respond within 30 days. You may also disconnect Google sign-in and continue with an email and password instead.

We use strictly necessary cookies and local storage to keep you signed in and remember preferences, plus limited analytics storage to understand feature usage. You can clear or block these in your browser, though sign-in will not persist.

Aqar Chain is not directed at anyone under 18 and we do not knowingly collect their data.
